Alaia was recruited by Russell Athletic to do their national media planning & buying; as well to develop a comprehensive online marketing program powered by Alaia's technical skills. In addition to managing all of their tactical advertising, brand strategy, promotions and sponsorships our plan included:
- Completely redesigning their corporate website, and adding their first e-Store;
- Initiating a complete brand strategy renaissance in Canada, and;
- Building an online social networking athlete community for athletes that capitalizes on the strongest viral qualities and enriching those with complimentary tactical marketing strategies to remain better connected with their customers. This platform will be also become a template model that can be re-sold to their retailer and sports association partners across Canada. Russell U.S has also expressed their interest in becoming a social-networking partner in this initiative too.
